The idea when dressing for travel is to be comfortable, but avoid fancy, very decorated clothing. Must consider that you are going to be screened by a Body Scanner or Metal Detector.
Try to avoid clothing with lots of zippers, rhinestones, lots of additional pockets, and lots of jewelry in general. Avoid wearing lots of layers if possible.

Remember when that TSA Agent is asking annoying questions regarding your pocket content or bag content prior to screening, it is meant to be helpful and reduce your chance of additional screening.
